And the Haus Said Amen is a multidisciplinary film and art project about reclamation becoming infrastructure.

Through Ballroom, film, poetry, movement, fashion, music, visual art, and testimony, Haus of Moulin Noir enters spaces that have historically excluded, controlled, consumed, or misunderstood Black queer bodies and asks a larger question:

What happens when we stop asking institutions to make room for us and begin building institutions around ourselves?

The project began inside sacred space, but the story is larger than the church.

It is about entering places where our bodies have been excluded, controlled, misunderstood, consumed, or made invisible.

It is about Ballroom itself—who carries it, who benefits from it, who preserves it, and what it means to build permanent structures around a culture that has historically had to create home wherever it could.
